Boomer Band is a eight-piece band based out of Portland, Oregon area. We perform regularly for large/small events , fundraisers and weddings throughout Oregon , Washington & Idaho. 

Our musicians have many years of experience and we are always fine tuning our craft. Unlike some variety bands that hire from a call list of side players, we are a consistent cohesive group with thousands of hours of rehearsal and performance experience.

Reference Accounts

Dinner and Cocktail Music: We frequently perform easy dance music at a low volume during the beginning of an event to encourage conversation among your guests.

Breaks: We play two 2 hour sets and take two 30 minute breaks with a coustume change. We play pre-recorded music during breaks. You may provide your own music if you wish.  

Performance Time: Our standard performance time is four (4) hours. We would be happy to perform longer with overtime pay. This can be arranged in advance or on the spot. See your contract for details.

Special Song Requests: Given ample notice we will learn a song for your event.

Live Performances: You are welcome to see us perform live. We perform at regular showcases. If this doesn't work into your schedule we may be able to invite you to a private event. Please ask.

Set up: We prefer to set up and conduct sound check before your guests arrive. In most cases, this means we set up 3-4 hours before the scheduled performance.

Announcements, Toasts: You are welcome to use our wireless microphone.

Instrumentation: Our eight-piece band consists of feature male vocalist, lead guitarist & vocalist, two female lead & backing vocalists also playing baritone & tenor sax, keyboardist & backing vocals, lead tenor saxophonist, bassist and drummer and vocalist.
